HIPAA 837 Generator

What information do we need?

In general, the 837 Generator needs:

• 837 receiver info (Insurance company, Payer, or Clearinghouse)
• Payer info if different from receiver
• Insured info (Subscriber)
• Patient info (Dependent) if different from Insured person
• Diagnositic code info for the encounter
• Services procvided info during the encounter
